Marbella Club stands in a prime location that makes it easy to reach some of the most beautiful sites of the Cilento and Campania. Every day you can decide whether to go on wonderful boat trips to visit extraordinarily beautiful bays and caves. And if you love riding, we also arrange fantastic trips on horseback.
Guests can also take part in characteristic evening lamparate (traditional trips organised by local fishermen taking guests out at sea at night to angle for oily fish), with a spaghetti party on the beach afterwards. You’ll enjoy a unique experience, surrounded by an atmosphere rich in tradition and savouring some of the delicacies of our sea.

CAPRI AND ANACAPRI - THE ISLAND OF LOVE
Coach - motorboat - minibus - guide
Transfer to the port of Salerno by car-coach, trip by motorboat along the coast off Amalfi and Positano and arrival in Capri. Panoramic excursion by minibus to Anacapri and return to the centre of Capri. Lunch then free time for shopping. Walk to Augustus Gardens to admire the famous faraglioni or stacks (with the assistance of a guide). Return to Marina Grande and return to Salerno by motorboat along the Amalfi coast. Return by coach from Palinuro and by motorboat from Salerno.

POMPEII AND VESUVIUS - A 2000-YEAR OLD CITY
Coach - guide and entry to Pompeii
Departure for Pompeii by coach. Guided visit to the archaeological excavations. Lunch. Transfer to Mount Vesuvius by coach, up to an altitude of 1000 metres (optional: short walk on the crater with guide). Return, after a short stop at one of the most famous coral and cameo workshops.

PAESTUM - A GREEK CITY IN THE CILENTO

PADULA AND PERTOSA - MONUMENTS CREATED BY MAN AND BY NATURE
Departure by coach for Padula. Guided visit to the Charterhouse of San Lorenzo (1306), one of the most important monuments in southern Italy, which covers a total area of 32,000 m². Transfer to Pertosa. Restaurant lunch. Guided visit to the Angel Caves, a natural spectacle created by a small lake, waterfalls and unusually-shaped stalactites and stalagmites.

MARATEA - NATURE SUSPENDED BETWEEN THE SKY AND THE SEA
Trip along the coast and through the sites that witnessed the feats of Pisacane (1857) and from Sapri we reach Maratea. We climb to Mount San Biagio (650 m) and the Statute of the Redeemer (22 m) that overlooks the entire Gulf of Policastro. Free time. Lunch break. In the afternoon, guided visit to Maratea, a small, people-friendly town surrounded by a truly breath-taking natural landscape.

AMALFI AND RAVELLO - THE DIVINE COAST
Departure by coach for Pisciotta. Travelling along the beautiful panoramic road we reach the Amalfi coast and its explosion of light, colours and fragrances! Visit to Amalfi and its Cathedral with its delightful Cloister of Paradise. Lunch. Guided visit to Ravello to enjoy the breath-taking views of the so-called “Terrace of Infinity”. Free time for shopping. Departure for the return journey.

BUONDORMIRE BAY - A DAY AT THE SEASIDE
On board characteristic fishing boats, we sail along the coast off Cape Palinuro to the beautiful Buondormire Bay, one of the resort’s most symbolic beaches. Its name, which was afforded by local fishermen roughly translates as “a good sleep”, gives an idea of the characteristics of this natural bay. Free day at the seaside. Return in the afternoon.

BAIA INFRESCHI - A NATURAL HARBOUR

MARINE CAVES AND PALINURO BEACH
Departure on a characteristic local motorboat. Visit to some of the most famous caves along the coast - Grotta Azzurra, Grotta Argento, Grotta Sangue and Grotta Monaci.
Visit to Buondormire beach, Mingardo beach and imposing Arco Naturale beach, with a short stop for bathing.

CILENTO NATIONAL PARK - A DAY IN THE PARK THROUGH THE CENTURIES
Passing through the mediaeval village of Pisciotta, we reach Elea-Velia, a city in Magna Graecia made famous by the philosophers Parmenides and Zenon. We the continue to Vallo, the Cilento’s historical capital. Making our way through rich Mediterranean scrubland we reach Mount Gelbison, a site for pilgrims heading to the peak of Mount Sacro where the second-highest sanctuary in Italy can be found. In the afternoon, we walk through Bruca Woods in the national park, where we may be lucky enough to spot peregrine falcons, a pair of ravens or even some choughs. Finally, we visit Futani, the village of San Severino, the Gorges of Mingardo and a holiday farm to sample some local produce.
